Maria Boulougari is an experienced professional in microbiology and biotechnology, currently serving as a Quality Control Microbiology Analyst at QACS - The Challenge Test Laboratory since June 2022. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant at Maria Douni Malami Microbiological-Diagnostic Laboratory, where responsibilities included scheduling patient appointments and managing COVID-19 testing billing. Maria has also contributed to the field as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens, focusing on a diploma thesis on integrin adhesion in Drosophila, and completed two internships at the same foundation and at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute. Maria holds an Integrated Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the Agricultural University of Athens and participated in a summer school program at the National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos."
