Rob Kubo

Sr. Director, Saas Product Transformation at QAD

Rob Kubo has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1989, they served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy until 1995. After that, they worked as a Nuclear Operations Shift Supervisor at PECO Energy from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, Kubo joined IBM as part of the Storage Systems Development team, and they worked there until 2000. Rob then moved to HP, where they served as an IO Architecture specialist from 2000 to 2002. Kubo returned to IBM in 2002 as a Storage Systems Architect, and they stayed with the company until 2008. From 2008 to 2021, Kubo held various roles at Teradata, including Cloud Strategy & Operations Director, Director of Product Management, and Cloud Programs Director, among others. In 2021, they joined BigBear.ai as a Chief of Staff, Products and later became the Director of Product Portfolio. Most recently, Kubo worked at QAD as the Sr. Director of SaaS Product Transformation. Overall, they have gained significant expertise in areas such as product management, cloud strategy, and storage systems throughout their career.

Rob Kubo received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico from 1985 to 1988. Rob later pursued a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the National Technological University, attending from 1999 to 2001.
