Tom Van Herpe is a Head of Quality & Regulatory at QAELUM, where he leads and supports national and international R&D projects and audits radiology departments. Prior to this, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven - University Hospitals Leuven, focusing on artificial pancreas technology and insulin software for diabetic patients. With a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Tom has expertise in modeling and control of blood glucose dynamics. He also holds certifications in data protection and project management.
