Omar Jaradat

Omar Jaradat, Ph.D., is a Senior Safety Expert at Qamcom Research and Technology, where they focus on safety-critical systems engineering. They completed a Ph.D. in Safety Critical Systems Engineering at Mälardalen University, where their research centered on modular safety cases and certification challenges. Prior to their current role, Omar gained experience as a Functional Safety Manager and Consultant at multiple companies, including NEVS and Volvo Cars. They hold a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Mälardalen University, where their thesis involved cooperation with Scania AB. Additionally, Omar has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Al Isra University.
