Wim van Rossom

Wim Van Rossom is an experienced material safety expert and associate director at UCB, specializing in extractables and leachables (E&L) strategies related to process equipment, container closure systems, and devices since March 2023. Prior roles include principal engineer at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities as an E&L subject matter expert involved leading standardization efforts for vial-based containers and innovative primary packaging solutions from July 2017 to February 2023. Previous experience includes study director at Nelson Labs, researcher fellow at the University of Southampton, and JSPS research fellow at the National Institute for Materials Science, with a strong focus on transmembrane transporters and supramolecular chemistry.
