Conor Scanlan

Conor Scanlan is an experienced aviator currently serving as a First Officer on the Boeing 737 and previously as a Second Officer on the Boeing 787 at Qantas since October 2022. Prior to this role, Conor worked at Cathay Pacific Airways as a Second Officer on the Boeing 747 from May 2019 to July 2022, specializing in cargo operations to multiple global destinations. Early experience includes serving as a Charter Pilot at Wagga Air Centre, flying various twin and single-engine aircraft, and working as a consultant for iFLYflat, where Conor provided expertise on frequent flyer programs. Conor's career began as a Licensed Queensland Racing Bookmaker's Clerk, handling customer interactions and transactions. Conor holds a Bachelor of Aviation from Griffith University and completed related qualifications at various institutions, including the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Basair Aviation College.
