Michael Riegler

Michael Riegler possesses extensive experience in the aviation industry, having worked at Qantas since 1997. Currently serving as the Manager of Business Innovation and Support within Flight Operations, Riegler oversees the integration of aeronautical information into the flight planning system. Previous roles include Flight Planning Futures Manager, Flight Dispatch Support Manager, and Flight Dispatch System Analyst, where responsibilities encompassed system enhancement analysis, process changes, and technology strategy development. Earlier in Riegler’s career at Qantas, responsibilities included Flight Dispatch Officer and Subject Matter Expert, focusing on compliance and user acceptance testing. Riegler also served in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Officer. Education was completed at Saint Ignatius College Riverview.
