Peter Nikolic

Peter Nikolic is a seasoned aviation professional with extensive experience in airworthiness compliance and engineering management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Airworthiness Compliance & Standardisation at Qantas since January 2017, Peter oversees strategic leadership in quality outcomes related to airworthiness compliance and assurance within Qantas Engineering. Previously, Peter held roles as Assurance Program Manager at Qantas and as Senior Policy and Regulatory Advisor for Airworthiness and Engineering at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Peter's career also includes significant positions at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, where contributions included managing certification and maintenance standards and leading multidisciplinary projects. Peter began his professional journey at Yugoslav Airlines and has held various engineering roles at Safran. Peter holds a Master's Degree in Aviation Management from Swinburne University of Technology and a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
