Simon Kando

Simon Kando is currently a Learning & Development Manager in Ground Operations at Qantas, where they lead a team of 12 and align training with strategic business objectives. Previously, they worked as a Training Advisor in Ground Operations for QantasLink, facilitating training for various aircraft types and developing compliance materials. Simon also served as a Senior Advisor for the 787-9 Dreamliner project, managing training initiatives and stakeholder engagements. They hold certificates in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering, as well as Training and Assessment, from Kangan Institute and Plenty Training, respectively.
