Ken Peartree has a long and varied work experience. Ken began their career in 1996 as a Manufacturing Engineer at Johnson & Johnson. In 1997, they moved to General Surgical Innovations as an R&D Project Manager. In 2001, they became the General Manager of West Coast Operations at MedSource Technologies. In 2004, they joined PercSys as the Chief Operating Officer and VP Operations. In 2010, they acted as a Product Development & Operations Management Consultant for Option3 LLC - Axiom Technology Partners. In 2011, they became the Co-Founder of Ocunetics, Inc. and also took on the role of VP, Research & Development and VP, Product Development - Consumables at Iridex. In 2015, they were appointed as the COO of Q'Apel Medical, Inc.

Ken Peartree has a diverse educational background. Ken earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995. Ken then attended the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where they received an MBA in Management in 2009. Finally, they earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 2010.
