Boorla Sri Vishnu has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Manager for Qapita - CapTable & ESOP Management Platform. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Technical Manager at Singapore Land Authority. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Principal Technical Consultant at Hexagon Geospatial, where they managed the latest Cloud Platform solutions called M. App Portfolio and provided pre-sales and support in the APAC region for Hexagon Geospatial's Enterprise Portfolio. From 2004 to 2017, they were Manager Technical Services and Manager Technical at Intergraph SG&I India. Finally, from 2001 to 2004, they were an Apprentice at NRSA.

Boorla Sri Vishnu's education history includes completing a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing and Image Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from Osmania University between 1997 and 2001. BOORLA also attended Bhavans School between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Coursera, such as Python for Everybody in September 2020, Machine Learning in September 2018, and from the Scrum Alliance, such as Certified ScrumMaster\u00ae (CSM\u00ae) in December 2019 and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
