Dan Cohn

Dan Cohn has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Dan currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Qarik Group since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Sabre Corporation as a Principal Software Architect from 2017 to 2023, focusing on software platform architecture and developer productivity. Before Sabre Corporation, they served as a Senior Solutions Architect and Senior System Architect at Ericsson from 2009 to 2017, where they designed, engineered, and integrated software-based systems for service providers. Dan also worked at Nortel, where they held multiple roles, including Sr. Design Architect, Software Design Architect, and Software Designer. Throughout their tenure at Nortel, they gained extensive experience in various aspects of software development, including VoIP media gateway design, technical oversight, high-level designs, and providing strategic direction to development teams. Additionally, they gained familiarity with end-to-end software engineering processes during their time as a Software Designer for the DMS-MTX cellular switching system. Between 2000 and the present, Dan has also co-owned a stationery boutique called Letter Art, where they have been responsible for finance, operations, graphic design, web development, advertising, and tax accounting.

Dan Cohn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
