Ashanka Singh

Ashanka Singh has gained a wide range of work experience in the software development and testing field. Ashanka started their career as a Technical Associate at Tech Mahindra, where they focused on automation testing for British Telecom using Tcl/Tk, iTest, Spirent, IxLoad, QTP, and HP-QC. After that, they joined Pluribus Networks as a Software Engineer, where they primarily worked on system and functional testing using Perl and Ixia tools. Ashanka also developed regression test plans and executed test cases.

In 2018, Ashanka joined Cisco as a Software Engineer, where they specialized in automation development and feature testing using Python, pyATS, REST, SD-WAN, NETCONF/YANG, Git, Selenium, POSTMAN, RobotFramework, and Jenkins CI/CD. Their notable achievement at Cisco includes designing a Python-based framework to convert Cisco CLI commands into YANG data modeling language, which significantly improved feature validation and turnaround time.

Currently, Ashanka is working at Qatalog as a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test. Their role involves using Javascript, Cypress, POSTMAN, Mocha, Jest, Lerna, as well as working with technologies such as React, Node, Postgres, GraphQL, GCP, Redis, and ElasticSearch. Qatalog is a London-based startup backed by prominent investors.

From 2006 to 2010, Ashanka Singh attended Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
