Antonio Schulthess

Antonio Schulthess is the current Chief People Officer at Qatar Airways. Prior to this, they were a member of the Board of Trustees for the Schweizer Luftfahrtstiftung from January 2021 to June 2021. The foundation monitors compliance with the Swiss Government's requirements for financial support of the airlines SWISS and Edelweiss. In their role, Antonio was responsible for ensuring compliance with the location policy and operational conditions.

Before their work with the Schweizer Luftfahrtstiftung, Antonio was a coach and consultant for people and organizational development from July 1998 to February 2003. Antonio then took a sabbatical from May 1997 to June 1998.

Antonio Schulthess holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Universität St.Gallen (HSG). Antonio also studied at IMD Business School and INSEAD. Antonio is a certified Air Force Pilot and has an IT background, having programmed COBOL/ANS (Mainframe) systems and developed software for Systor AG.
