Derosh Roshan Maniklal

Derosh Roshan Maniklal has over 25 years of extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving in various finance and maintenance roles at Qatar Airways since August 2019, including Acting Director of Line Maintenance, Vice President for Line, Light, and Outstations, and Senior Manager of Line Maintenance. Prior experience includes a lengthy tenure at South African Airways Technical from August 1998 to July 2019, where roles included Senior Manager of Line Maintenance for the Johannesburg Hub, management of maintenance activities for major domestic carriers, and significant involvement in the International Airlines Technical Pooling as a delegate. Derosh's technical expertise includes Six Sigma Green Belt certification and comprehensive management of line maintenance operations, as well as hands-on experience as a licensed technician responsible for critical maintenance checks on various aircraft types.
