Karn Jani

Karn Jani is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in data protection and privacy law. Currently serving as a Senior Legal Specialist at Qatar Airways since September 2021, Karn previously held significant roles at UAE Exchange as both Group Data Protection and Privacy Officer (Acting) and Associate Director of the Group Data Protection & Privacy Office. Prior experiences include serving as a Senior Privacy Specialist at Philips and managing privacy and data protection at Infosys Limited. Karn's legal career began as an Associate Lawyer at S.D. Vyas & Associates, and earlier roles involved academic contributions as a faculty member at ASCL Law School and Manager of Academics at Career Launcher India Pvt. Ltd. Educational qualifications include advanced privacy certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals, an LL.M in IT and Privacy Laws from The John Marshall Law School, and a BSL/LLB in Law from Symbiosis Law College.
