Cobus Viljoen

Cobus Viljoen has extensive experience in senior legal and commercial roles, currently serving as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Qatar Chemical Company since March 2016. Prior to this role, Cobus held the position of Commercial Director at Nigerdock PLC from August 2014 to February 2016 and worked as Principal Commercial Manager at Foster Wheeler from May 2008 to August 2014. Additionally, Cobus gained valuable expertise as Assistant Manager in the Contracts Department at Qatar Petroleum between February 2000 and May 2008, and as Manager of the Commercial Department at Sasol from February 1990 to February 2000. Cobus holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law, an LLB in Law, and a B.Iuris in Law, along with a certificate in the Business Leadership Programme from the University of South Africa.
