Kamal Naji

Chief Economist & Special Projects Officer at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority

Kamal Naji has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Kamal started their career at Shell as a Graduate Process Engineer and eventually progressed to positions as a Project Engineer and Process Engineer. In 2010, Kamal pursued an MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Following their education, they joined Qatar Central Bank as a Director of Asset Management & Strategy. After four years, they moved to Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority, where they currently hold the position of Chief Economist & Special Projects Officer.

Kamal Naji completed their Master of Engineering degree with Honors in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2006. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a full-time MBA program with a focus on Finance and Investment Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
