Khalid Almeer

Khalid Almeer currently serves as the Director of Procurement & Facilities Management at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority since 2021. Previously, Khalid held the position of Sr. Manager for Corporate & Facilities Management Procurement at Msheireb Properties from May 2009 to December 2020, where responsibilities included establishing and leading the corporate procurement systems and team while maintaining excellent communication with internal and external customers. Prior to this role, Khalid worked as a Materials Buyer and Contract Administrator at Occidental Petroleum of Qatar, LTD (OXY) from August 2002 to May 2009, overseeing drilling department purchases and managing agreements. Khalid holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Oakland University.
