Mohamed Benbouadi has a strong background in business development and relationship management. Mohamed currently holds the position of Managing Director-Business Development at Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority, where they started in July 2021. Previously, they served as Vice President-Business Development from October 2017 to June 2021 and as Head of Corporate Solutions in the Business Development Department from October 2016 to October 2017.

Prior to their work at QFC Authority, Mohamed held various roles at Euroclear, a financial services company. From August 2008 to 2016, they were the Director and Head of Middle East, Africa & Eurasia, Sales & Relationship Management. Mohamed also worked as a Senior Relationship Manager for the same region from September 2008 to June 2010.

Mohamed Benbouadi holds a Master's Degree in Financial Risk Management from Aix-Marseille University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Financial Management Services from Johnson & Wales University, attending from 2002 to 2004. Mohamed completed their undergraduate studies at IIHEM-Morocco, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General, from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Mohamed has also obtained certifications in "Counterintuitive Leadership Strategies for a VUCA Environment" and "Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms" from LinkedIn in 2021.
