Yousef Fakhroo

Yousef Fakhroo has extensive experience in the fields of marketing, corporate communications, and public affairs. Yousef is currently serving as the Chief Marketing & Corporate Communications Officer at the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority since July 2022. Prior to their current role, they worked at ExxonMobil as the Deputy Director of Government and Public Affairs from August 2018 to July 2022. From June 2014 to August 2018, they held the position of Chief Marketing and Corporate Communication Officer at the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority. Yousef also worked as the Global Communications Manager at Qatar Petroleum International from May 2013 to June 2014, and as the Head of Media, Publications, and Communications at RasGas from June 2011 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at Qatar Foundation, first as the Program Communication Manager from April 2010 to June 2011, and then as the Head of Marketing Relations from December 2005 to April 2010.

Yousef Fakhroo has a Masters in International Marketing Management from the University of Surrey. Yousef also completed the Key Executive program at Harvard Business School. In addition, they attended the London Business School and studied Developing Strategy for Value Creation. Yousef obtained their B.A in Sales and Marketing with a focus on Marketing and Spanish from the University of Houston-Downtown.
