Amjad Atallah

Amjad Atallah is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in media and nonprofit sectors. Currently, Amjad serves as Managing Director of Doha Debates, overseeing creative and management aspects of various program streams. As a co-founder and Global Board Member of Women for Women International, Amjad has contributed to supporting over 500,000 marginalized women impacted by conflict since 1993. In addition to serving as CEO of Vortex International LLC, providing strategic communications and campaign support, Amjad has held significant positions in Al Jazeera Media Network, including Regional Director for the Americas and EVP of Content. An academic background includes a JD in International Law from American University Washington College of Law and advanced degrees in Comparative Religious Studies and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia.
