Jigar Mehta

Jigar Mehta is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in digital operations, storytelling, and audience engagement. Currently serving as Deputy Managing Director at Doha Debates since December 2018, Jigar focuses on addressing pressing global issues through interactive platforms. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Video and Vice President of Digital Operations at Fusion Media Group, and Engagement Lead at AJ+, where Jigar managed social strategy for a global news community. Jigar co-created the #18DaysInEgypt documentary, served as President of the South Asian Journalists Association, and contributed to various initiatives such as Matter and GroupStream. Jigar holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a fellowship from Stanford University.
