Mohamed Ghanem

Mohamed Ghanem is an experienced professional in the fields of healthcare investment and cardiology. Currently serving as the Head of the Healthcare Department at Qatar Investment Authority since April 2014, Mohamed has previously held roles as a Healthcare Analyst in Managed Portfolios within the same organization. Prior experiences include positions as an Investment Banking Associate, Analyst, and Intern at EFG Hermes from October 2011 to April 2014. Mohamed also contributed to academic medicine as an Assistant Lecturer of Cardiology at Alexandria University from September 2009 to October 2011, and underwent medical residency in Cardiology and Angiology at the same institution from March 2006 to March 2009, following the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2004 and a Master’s degree in Cardiology and Angiology in 2009.
