Ricky Chong

Ricky Chong is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in IT management and infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Qatar Investment Authority since September 2023, Ricky previously held the position of Head of IT Infrastructure at Europe Arab Bank from May 2022 to August 2023. Ricky's career includes significant roles at CIMB Bank Berhad, where responsibilities as IT Manager and AVP for International Offices involved overseeing IT operations and providing strategic support to international branches. Ricky's earlier experience includes serving as Director at TCT Tech Sdn Bhd, where the focus was on Microsoft-based infrastructure consultancy, as well as roles as a Technical Consultant at Persoft Systems Sdn Bhd and System Engineer at Olympic Software NZ Ltd. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing, International Business, and Information Systems from The University of Auckland.
