Gourang Hemani has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Gourang began their career in 1990 at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where they worked as an Articled Student and Qualified Assistant until 1994. Gourang then joined Standard Chartered Bank as an Assistant Manager in the Central Loan Processing Unit. In 1997, they moved to Banque Saudi Fransi, where they held various roles including Manager Accounting Systems and Control, Head of Asset Liability Management and Treasury Middle Office, Head of Financial Planning, and Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Gourang Hemani's most recent position is as the Chief Financial Officer at QIB, which they have held since 2012.

Gourang Hemani, CFA, FRM, CA completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce at St. Xavier's College, from 1988 to 1991.
