Wajid Unar

Wajid Unar has a strong background in technology and digital application development. Wajid is currently the Head of Digital Application Development & IT Support at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), a role they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Deloitte as the Head of Architecture & Engineering from September 2021 to March 2023. Wajid also held the position of Senior Manager at Deloitte Digital from May 2013 to March 2023. Before joining Deloitte, Wajid worked as a Technology Consultant at Accenture from October 2011 to May 2013. Wajid started their career as a Software Engineer at GfK in June 2007 and worked there until June 2009.

Wajid Unar attended the University of the West of England from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained an MSc degree in Information Technology. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also earned certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance. Wajid is also a member of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, holding the certification of MBCS. The specific dates for obtaining these certifications are not provided.
