Omar Al-Jaber has over 10 years of work experience, starting from 2005. Omar began their career at Qatar Chemical Company, where they worked as a Q-Chem Environmental Engineer from March 2005 to June 2009. Omar then became the Q-Chem II Project (PE/NAO) Lead Environmental Engineer from June 2009 to August 2011. In August 2011, they joined Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) as a Business Development Manager, and later held roles of Marketing & Outreach Manager, Senior Marketing & Outreach Manager, Head of Strategic Partnerships & Outreach, and currently, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Outreach since February 2021.
Omar Al-Jaber attended Jassim Bin Hamad High School from 1995 to 1998. Omar then pursued higher education at the University of Kansas from 1998 to 2004. In 2017 and 2018, Omar furthered their education by attending the Harvard Business School Executive Education and the Qatar Leadership Center, where they completed the Executive Leaders Program and focused on Business/Leadership studies.
