Lucia Santos

Lucia Santos has a strong background in photography conservation. Lucia worked as a Senior Photography Conservator at Qatar Museums Authority starting in 2013. Prior to that, they were a Photography Conservator at Luis Pavão Limitada in Lisbon, Portugal from 2006 to 2013. Their responsibilities included consulting, conservation and restoration treatments, introduction of metadata, and condition reports. Lucia also worked as a Photography Conservator at Centro Português de Fotografia in Porto, Portugal from 1997 to 2004.

Lucia Santos completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Conservation of Photographs at the Departamento de Conservação e Restauro da Universidade Nova de Lisboa from 1993 to 1998. Later, from 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Conservation of Works of Art on Paper at the University of the Arts London.
