Firas Barakat

Firas Barakat has extensive experience in the field of trade finance and banking, with a career spanning over 16 years. Firas has held various roles at QNB Group since March 2011, progressing from Trade Finance Officer to Senior Officer and currently serving as Manager of Import and Export. Prior experience includes a position in the Trade Finance Department at Bank of Sharjah from September 2007 to February 2011, and an earlier role as Outlet in Charge at Abi Ramia Bros., alongside a brief position as Supervisor at Lebanese Utilities Company. Firas holds a Master in URDG, Trade Finance from the International Chamber of Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Beirut Arab University, and is currently a CFA Level 1 candidate.
