Nabil Iqbal

Nabil Iqbal serves as the Head of Risk Systems within Group Risk at QNB Group, a position held since September 2011, where major achievements include the successful implementation of QNB’s Risk Architecture Plans for 2017 and 2022, with ongoing alignment towards Qatar National Vision 2030. Previously, roles at Qatar National Bank included Assistant Vice President & Team Lead, Senior Manager, and Manager, focusing on portfolio risk analysis and economic capital across multiple international units. Nabil's earlier experience includes establishing the Risk Analytics Department at Soneri Bank Limited and contributing to risk management development at BankIslami Pakistan Limited. Nabil's educational qualifications encompass an MBA in Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire, a Certified Project Risk Manager designation from the University of Adelaide, and a B.S. in Actuarial Science & Risk Management from Karachi University.
