Amr El-Masry is an experienced Library Systems Manager at Qatar National Library since September 2008, where strategic plans for library services and IT infrastructure have been developed and executed. Amr has actively participated in various advisory and leadership roles, including serving on the EBSCO Advisory Board for Academic Libraries and chairing the Middle East-North Africa Innovative Users Group steering committee. Previous experience also includes serving on the Library Advisory Board for Taylor & Francis Group and as a Functional Expert for Innovative Interfaces. Amr has a strong background in library management and education, having lectured at University College London and implemented library management solutions in numerous institutions. Amr holds a Master of Library & Information Science from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in Library and Information Science from Cairo University.
