Rana Ahmed Alani

Rana Ahmed Alani is an experienced Information Services Librarian at Qatar National Library since August 2018, previously serving as a Research Assistant at UCL Qatar and as a librarian intern at Qatar Museums. With a strong background in user experience design, Rana worked as a User Experience Designer for Qatar Museums from 2012 to 2015, prior to which multiple freelance graphic design projects were undertaken. An educator as well, Rana taught Graphic Design at Rabaa Aladawiya Independent School and interned as a Graphic Designer with Al Jazeera Media Network. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from UCL and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
