Dr. Anas Hamad

Dr. Anas Hamad, PhD, MSc, DMS, BSc, RPh, serves as the Director of the Pharmacy Department at Hamad Medical Corporation's National Center for Cancer Care & Research and as the Head of the Medication Safety & Quality Center. With a diverse background in clinical pharmacy and health management, Dr. Hamad holds multiple roles including Assistant Director of Pharmacy for Clinical Services at Hamad General Hospital, Board Member of the Gulf Health Economics Association, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Qatar University. In addition, Dr. Hamad is actively involved in several committees such as the National Clinical Research Review Committee and the National Pharmacy Qualifying Exam Expert Panel. Contributing to the field of health economics, Dr. Hamad is the Vice President & Director of the Qatar Chapter of ISPOR and serves on editorial boards for prominent journals in clinical pharmacy. Educational qualifications include a PhD from King's College London and various other degrees in pharmacy and health services management.
