Hashem Darwish is an experienced health advisor and program manager with extensive expertise in developing and implementing health programs in alignment with international standards. Currently serving as Health Advisor at Qatar Red Crescent Society since July 2016, Hashem focuses on enhancing emergency medical responses and health projects. Previous roles include Head of Programmes and Head of Health Programmes at INTERSOS, Emergency Projects Manager for USAID/MCHIP, and Health Program Manager at International Medical Corps. Hashem's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Public Health from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and various diplomas related to clinical nutrition and humanitarian health. With a foundational medical degree from the University of Aden, Hashem has dedicated over 15 years to improving health outcomes in humanitarian settings.
