It will set the national strategy for the tourism sector, reviewing it periodically and overseeing its implementation, with the aim of diversifying tourism offerings in the country and increasing visitor spend. The Travel and Tourism Management team at Qatar Tourism is responsible for leading strategic initiatives that enhance Qatar's global appeal in the travel and tourism sector. This includes organizing and promoting Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) as well as sports and e-sports events. The team also manages tour guide services and develops global travel trade market strategies to boost tourism and visitor engagement.
