Rozaimi Razali, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Qatar University since January 2021, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sidra Medicine, focusing on multiple studies related to the Qatari Genome Project, including population genetics and bioinformatics for de-novo genome assembly. Before Sidra Medicine, Rozaimi served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, working on de-novo reference genome construction and pathogenic variation methods. As a former Bioinformatics Manager at Sengenics, responsibilities included NGS-based analyses and disease profiling, alongside earlier roles as a Bioinformatician at Genseq and Infovalley Biosystems, contributing to algorithm development and SNP data management.
