Faisal al-Tamimi

Faisal Al-Tamimi is a seasoned professional in business development and economic analysis, currently serving as Sr. Principal Business Developer at QatarEnergy since 2017, with a focus on designing and maintaining complex economic and risk models to support value optimization decisions. Previous experience includes an attachment at Total in 2019, where exposure to gas and power trading functions occurred. Prior to that, Faisal worked as an Economic Analyst at Qatar Petroleum from 2011 to 2016, specializing in oil and gas projects, economic modeling, and feasibility studies. Faisal holds a Master of Science in Finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Liverpool, complemented by a foundation in Business and Social Science from Liverpool International College.
