Hooman Farnejad

Hooman Farnejad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and sustainable energy. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist at Qatar Petroleum, Hooman has been instrumental in establishing business opportunity evaluation processes and developing a comprehensive 10-year business strategy for various segments, including Upstream, LNG, and Downstream. Prior to this role, Hooman worked as a Senior Advisor at OLADE, facilitating sustainable development projects and fostering international partnerships. A tenure at The World Bank involved advising on sustainable energy initiatives and assisting countries, including those in challenging contexts, in overcoming developmental challenges. Hooman's career began with roles at Marathon Oil Company, Stone & Webster, and Mobil Oil Corporation, complemented by an impressive educational background, including a Master's in Petroleum Policy & Law from the University of Dundee and an MBA from the University of Aberdeen.
