Luis F. Batalla Toro

Luis F. Batalla Toro is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Assistant Manager of Engineering Technical Services at Qatar Energy since April 2024. Prior experience includes significant roles at Repsol from August 2016 to April 2024, where Luis held various leadership positions, including Head of E&P Project Management and Governance and Head of Integrated Projects (Decommissioning). Prior to Repsol, Luis worked at Repsol Sinopec Brasil, managing major offshore projects including the BMC33 Offshore Deepwater Development Facilities. Additional experience encompasses roles at Akakus Oil Operations and Repsol YPF, focused on project management and process engineering in various oil and gas exploration and development projects. Luis holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Alcalá and has pursued several advanced management and engineering courses throughout a distinguished career.
