Nishant Philip

Nishant Philip, CEng, currently serves as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Pipeline) in Offshore Operations at QatarEnergy, focusing on planning and directing subsea pipeline and cable inspection, maintenance, and repair activities. With previous experience as a Project Manager at Baker Hughes managing a Master Service Agreement with Qatargas, Nishant has overseen over 100 pipeline inspections and integrity studies, contributing significantly to PIMS implementation. Prior roles at GE, Penspen, and ADMA OPCO further highlight expertise in pipeline integrity assessment and project decommissioning coordination. Nishant holds a Master of Science in Pipeline Engineering from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Anna University, alongside certifications in process safety and advanced fracture mechanics.
