Osama F Al Kurdi, Ph.D., CEM®, MBCI, currently serves as the Head of Emergency Management at QatarEnergy, where responsibilities include leading emergency management for three major industrial cities involving over 40 multinational stakeholders. With extensive experience in emergency management and risk assessment, Osama has held various project leadership roles, including the Emergency Management Information System Project Lead and the Project Istijaba EM Lead. Osama's background also includes roles as a Risk Management Project Manager at Abdul Latif Jameel, industry professor at Rabdan Academy, and adjunct faculty at various universities. An accomplished training instructor, Osama has developed and delivered training on key topics such as risk management and business continuity for a diverse range of clients, including government departments and educational institutions across the UAE, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Osama holds advanced degrees in emergency management, homeland security, and management from prestigious institutions.
