Robert Khalil

Robert Khalil is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering services within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Engineering Services Lead at QatarEnergy since September 2024, Robert previously held roles at DNO ASA as a Senior Project Engineer and at Wood as a Lead Project Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the KAZ NGL Plant overhaul project in Iraq. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Petrofac, where Robert successfully led multiple projects, including the Rumaila Full Field Development Project in collaboration with BP, and managed a variety of engineering studies across the MENA region. Robert's career also includes mechanical engineering work with Pratt & Whitney on the GP7000 Turbofan jet engine. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
