Salim Taoutaou

Salim Taoutaou is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Cluster Development at QatarEnergy since July 2021, where responsibilities include identifying business requirements across various sectors and driving local investment opportunities while ensuring environmental sustainability. Prior to this role, Salim founded and served as CEO of TAOUTAOU CONSULTING LLC from February 2020 to June 2024. An extensive career at Schlumberger from 2002 to 2020 included positions such as Technical Director of Cementing & Well Integrity for the Middle East & Asia Pacific, Global Technical Director, and Business Development Manager, where Salim developed strategic initiatives and led technical teams for well integrity cementing projects. Salim's early career involved roles in engineering, including cementing instructor and field engineer at Dowell Schlumberger, co-founding KalamaCOM Telecommunications, and serving as an assistant professor.
