Zaur Sadikhov

Zaur Sadikhov currently serves as the Assistant Manager of the Electrical Department at QatarEnergy, a position held since September 2023. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Zaur was previously employed at Shell from August 2006 to August 2023, where the role of Technical & Project Delivery Manager involved overseeing solar, energy storage, and management solutions. Zaur also held various senior electrical engineering positions, contributing to projects such as the Pearl GTL Growth and Modifications, Brent End of Field Life operations, and offshore platforms. Education includes a Master's in Petroleum Technology from Curtin University and a Bachelor's and Master's in Power Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. Additionally, Zaur has experience as Chairman of the Electrical Committee at the Energy Institute and has worked with AMEC and Baku Electricity Network earlier in the career.
