Sebastian Macke is a lead software engineer and AI expert currently lecturing master’s students in computer science at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences. They completed their Ph.D. in physics at the Max Planck - UBC Centre for Quantum Materials, focusing on ferromagnetic materials and micromagnetism. Previously, Sebastian worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Quantum Matter Institute in Vancouver and at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, conducting research on magnetism and X-ray scattering. With extensive experience in software engineering at QAware GmbH, Sebastian has advanced from senior software engineer to lead software engineer.
