Nelson Babilonia

Nelson Babilonia is a seasoned IT leader with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, currently serving as the VP, Hosting & Operations Infrastructure Manager at QBE North America since October 2010. In this role, Nelson oversees enterprise server compute, storage, and VMware virtualization platforms in North America Data Centers, supporting Microsoft and Red Hat Linux Server Operating Systems. Previous positions at QBE include Technical Consultant, AVP Service Delivery Systems Manager, and Infrastructure Engineering Manager, with a focus on Distributed Systems, Virtualization, and Storage. Prior experience includes roles at QBE Insurance, Sydney Reinsurance, and American Royal Reinsurance, as well as a background as a Fire Support Specialist in the US Army. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary University and an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from New York City College of Technology.
