Fokko de Vries

Fokko de Vries is an experienced professional in the field of quantum networks, currently serving as Roadmap Leader at Qblox since January 2022, with previous roles as Project Lead and Roadmap Leader. Prior experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich and QuTech, and as a PhD Student at TU Delft. Fokko contributed to research on topological quantum systems as a Visiting Student at Harvard University. Additionally, Fokko held leadership roles as Treasurer for both the Vereniging voor Technische Physica and the Alumni Vereniging Technische Natuurkunde. Fokko's educational background includes a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the same institution, and exchange opportunities at ETH Zürich and Harvard University.
