Kaoru Okumura

Kaoru Okumura has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Okumura worked at Qdabra Software as a Program Manager and Lead Software Engineer starting in 2007. In the same year, Okumura also pursued a career as an Individual Artist, specializing in Butoh dance. From 2008 to 2013, Okumura worked as a Butoh Performer at Danse Perdue.

Earlier in Okumura's career, they worked at Microsoft Corp. from 1995 to 2006. Their roles included being a Developer and Program Manager, where they led various projects related to language tools for Windows and Office. From 1995 to 1998, Okumura worked as a Program Manager in the IME group at MSKK.

Kaoru Okumura obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Humanities from International Christian University, where they attended from 1977 to 1981. Kaoru then pursued a Master of Science degree in Math - proofing theory from Kyushu University, which they completed from 1981 to 1983. In addition to their academic qualifications, Okumura also obtained a certification as a Licensed Massage Practitioner in Washington in December 2007.
