Predrag Knežević

Predrag Knežević is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in platform engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer at Qdrant since September 2024, Predrag previously worked at Upbound as a Principal Software Engineer, contributing to the Crossplane open-source project and various integrations. Prior experience includes roles at Oracle focusing on the OCI DataFlow Service and at Red Hat leading the OpenShift App Services team, where Predrag was instrumental in developing the Service Binding operator and integrating Helm. Additionally, Predrag held senior positions at DataStax, leading development and infrastructure improvements, and led software development at ABZ Reporting GmbH. Predrag's early career included consulting and research roles at organizations such as PROSTEP AG and the Fraunhofer IPSI Institute. Predrag holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Graduate Engineer degree from the University of Belgrade.
